Why sourcing labels

The clearest example is the mutation rate in Palworld 1.0. One reference site states 1% per egg. Another states 5–10%. Two more guides give no number at all. None of them publish a sample size. A player budgeting cake for a long breeding run is being handed a tenfold spread with no way to tell which end to trust.

So mechanics claims on this site carry a label saying how firm the footing is: Patch-note text, via coverage, Measured, method shown, Stated by a source, and Sources disagree. Where sources disagree, the page shows the spread instead of picking one. Measured, method shown is the bar worth aiming at, and nothing on the site clears it yet — no one has published a mutation trial count.

Rules I hold myself to

• No claim ships without a source. If I cannot link where something came from, it does not go on the page. Gaps get listed as gaps.
• No invented numbers, ever. Not for drop rates, not for odds, not to make a table look complete.
• Depth over page count. I would rather publish one page a week that is genuinely researched than forty pages of reworded filler.
• Corrections are published, not quietly patched. This page's own first version got the mutation-rate story wrong and cited a source that did not contain the number. That is written up on the page it affected rather than deleted.
• No official assets. No ripped art, logos, or fonts. Everything visual here is original.
